Set in the heart of the picturesque Clun Valley, approximately 3½ miles west of the historic town of Clun, the Crown provides an excellent holiday base from which to explore and discover the towns and villages that have evolved in tune with the landscape of the area.

Nestled amidst the rolling South Shropshire Hills in an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”, the Crown lies less than half a mile from the Offa's Dyke path, with The Shropshire Way, Jack Mytton Way and Kerry Ridgeway right on our doorstep. Also within easy driving distance are the Longmynd, the Stiperstones, Snowdonia, Brecon Beacons and Elan Valley reservoirs.


Closer to home, on Newcastle’s doorstep, lies two contrasting Nature Reserves “Rhos Fiddle” to the west is a beautiful natural upland Moorland of some 70 acres and bog on a shale base that was formed over 400 million years ago, designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
